I was born in Skopje, Yugoslavia, but I grew up in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, experiencing the transformation of one sense to another sense of belonging. My passion for nature lead me to enroll at the Faculty of Forestry at Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where I graduated Landscaping and Improvement of the Environment in 2004. I worked for 6 years on various projects related to forests and the environment mainly as a public involvement consultant. I’ve worked on projects like the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Forestry in Macedonia, establishment of the rent-a-bicycle scheme in the City of Skopje, Macedonia, issues in private forestry and many more. In 2010 I decided to continue with my education, so I took a master course at the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Rural Development program, coordinated by Ghent University, Belgium, in partnership with: Agrocampus Ouest, France, Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia and University of Pisa, Italy and in collaboration with Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
